Marta Obiols Llistar is a teacher turned unschooler, mother of three, and author of the award-winning book 18. Once a public school teacher, she spent the past ten years homeschooling and then unschooling her children, giving a voice to the unschooling community by sharing her family stories. Marta has a dual degree in Elementary and Special Education from Blanquerna Ramon Llull University in Barcelona. Still, with a foreign accent every time she speaks, this Catalan native has lived in Atlanta for the past 22 years.
